97unemployment

More bad news for the Obama Administration: Unemployment rose to 9.7% this month after losing 216,000 jobs in August!

It is our highest unemployment rate since 1983.  But have no fear! Why? Because Joe Biden is optimistic about the economy and the stimulus package:

Vice President Joe Biden defended the stimulus package Thursday against Republican critics who say it is too costly.

“The recovery act has played a significant role in changing the trajectory of our economy, and changing the conversation in this country,” Biden said. “Instead of talking about the beginning of a depression, we are talking about the end of a recession.”

Republicans responded back:

Republicans criticized Biden’s speech. “The Democrats’ rhetoric on their economic experiment doesn’t match with the reality of millions of Americans remaining unemployed,” said Republican Party chief Michael Steele. “The stimulus was an economic experiment that failed Americans.”

Thought: Maybe we should rename the stimulus package to “Make it rain on the economy package”? Thoughts anyone?

Side-Note: Joe Biden should just keep his mouth shut at times.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, California?

Answer: An anti-Obamacare protester missing a pinky finger because it was bit off by an Obamacare supporter!

Personally, I feel Mr. Rice should not of punched his attacker, which lead to the incident. But biting a man’s finger off!? When I first saw this story on the internet, I thought it was someone blowing an incident way out of proportion. Turns out, the story was pretty legit. From te looks of the video Mr. Rice seems pretty laid back, but that might be the medication he’s on for the pain, haha.

KTLA reports more:

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform.

A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.

The finger-biting incident occurred after a member of the group protesting health care reform, William Rice, 65, of Newbury Park, became involved in a heated discussion with a member of Code Pink, sheriff’s Capt. Ross Bonfiglio said.

A man from Moveon.org’s area then walked over to the opponents and verbally confronted Rice, allegedly calling him names and acting aggressively, Bonfiglio said.

Rice later told investigators he felt threatened by the man and punched him in the nose, Bonfiglio said.

The punch set off a fist fight between the two men, during which the tip of Rice’s left pinky finger was bitten off, Bonfiglio said.

Hmm… What lesson did we learn here? Never underestimate the actions of a liberal, haha. WARNING: If you decide to flip an Obamacare supporter the bird, remember to keep a safe distance! You may never see your finger again.

Rep. Baron Hill (D-IN)

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Rep. Baron Hill (D-IN) at his town hall meeting?

Answer: He tried desperately not to have it appear on YouTube.

HAHA!  Oops!  That didn’t work too well  Rep. Baron Hill.  Instead, now you look pathetic and scared of your own constituents.

Here is a reminder to  Rep. Baron Hill: This is your constituents’ town hall meeting, which you are providing them for their benefit.  And don’t you work for them!?

Oh liberals… They do the darndest things.
