$1.4 trillion... Ouch!

$1.4 trillion... Ouch!

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the United States’ budget deficit for the fiscal year 2009?

Answer: You could buy a lot of stuff with $1.4 TRILLION!

Here is a nice, little informational video that almost makes you depressed. And in case you’re wondering, the previous record had been set in 2008 – thanks Bush.

But hey! Lets not hate on Mr. Bush too much now. After all, The Messiah (Barack Obama) was able to triple that for the fiscal year 2009! Yay! Like Rahm Emanuel said: Don’t waste a crisis. And I remember when liberals complained about Bush’s spending… What happened?

Don’t worry, because hopefully the atrocious spending will stop soon. Oh wait, I forgot the Obama administration estimates another $1.4 trillion for the fiscal year 2010 budget deficit. Great…

Side-Note: Very interesting little video. On the issue of setting government spending records: DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!

AreYouKiddingMe

MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell.

MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the MSNBC host, Andrea Mitchell, on her opinion of George Soros?

Answer: She doesn’t think he is left-wing.

Are you kidding me… Is Andrea Mitchell living on another planet??? Literally, she must be if she honestly believes Mr. Soros is not a huge liberal.

How’s he not left-wing after a track record that includes this:

  • He is the founder of the far-left organization MoveOn.org, along with hundreds of others.
  • He is a Nazi collaborator who helped them confiscate property from thousands of Hungarian Jews who were being shipped off to death camps.
  • He spent $24 million to fight President Bush’s 2004 re-election bid.
  • He pledged $5 million in the fight for Obama-Care.
  • He pledged $400,000 to legalize pot in Massachusetts.

And that’s not even close to all his organizations or what liberal groups, politicians, and causes he’s contributed to.

Side-Note: I think I am going to go ahead and file Ms. Mitchell under ‘Idiot’. Remember, this is the same woman that said Obama must persuade us because “Americans don’t know what’s good for them” when it comes to health-care. Pff.

Mountain-Baucus-Bill

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Baucus’s newly written Obama-Care bill?

Answer: Who knows!? The damn thing is 1,502 pages long!

READ THE BAUCUS BILL HERE.

And we all thought the original H.R. 3200 Obama-Care bill was huge. Now we got ourselves another Mount Everest, in the form of paper, on our hands:

The Senate Finance Committee filed its sweeping health care reform bill Monday and its release served largely to highlight the divisions among Democrats over the direction of reform.

The massive, 1,500 page bill is expected to serve as the backbone for Democratic reform efforts going forward and five senators expressed concerns about one of its main provisions, a 40 percent tax on high-end insurance plans.

It’s important to remember that the bill won’t exist in this form for long. Senate Majority Leader Reid and Sens. Max Baucus and Chris Dodd along with senior White House aides are merging the Finance and Health Committee legislation into one bill that will be considered on the floor of the Senate. The behind-closed-doors dealings have drawn criticism from Republicans, particularly because President Obama had promised a transparent process and pledged to negotiate the health care bill on C-SPAN.

Ahh yes! The lovely transparency promises made by Obama during the campaign. Being able to watch the health-care negotiations on C-SPAN would be kind of helpful right now. Whatever happened to that and all of the other promises? I haven’t seen one single  transparency promise kept yet. Mr. President, I’m throwing on the Jeopardy theme song and waiting…

[Do, doot, do, doot, do, doot, doooo. Do, doot, do, doot, DOOT, do, do, do]

It will be interesting to see what’s uncovered in this heap of paper that politicians call a ‘bill’.

Side-Note: If environmentalists want to complain about something, maybe they should attack the liberals drafting these health-care bills that probably take a whole tree to print. Just a suggestion. After all, to carry this bill around you would have to take a lift dolly to work each day.

1,502 PAGES! WTH!

*UPDATE:

Speaking of transparency and un-kept promises by Obama… The Republican National Committee just released this political advertisement about it:

Perfect. Once again, we’re waiting Obama… Don’t make me sing the Jeopardy theme song again!

Prank-Olympia-Snowe

Wonder what you would find if you frisked one of U.S. Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe’s state offices?

Answer: 240 bags of rock salt.

HAHA! I must admit, absolutely classic. Usually this site only deals with liberals and their dumb mistakes, but due to Sen. Olympia Snowe’s decision to side with the Democrats’ health-care and economic-stimulus bills, she got what she deserved. Good idea RedState, details here:

Since last Wednesday morning, Ron’s Home & Hardware has received roughly 240 orders for five-pound bags of rock salt. While buyers were scattered around the country, each requested the same delivery address in Portland, Maine – one of six state offices for U.S. Republican Sen.Olympia Snowe.

John M. Thieling, co-founder of the Indianapolis-based company, says an employee turned to the Web for an explanation and found a blog entry on RedState.com urging readers to order bags of rock salt from Amazon.com and mail them to the senator’s office. Ron’s Home & Hardware sells rock salt through Amazon.

Erick Erickson, RedState.com’s editor in chief, says he came up with the ploy to express frustration against Snowe for her decision to vote in favor of the Democrats’ health-care and economic-stimulus bills.  “What melts snow? Rock salt,” Erickson wrote last week. “It is a visible demonstration of our contempt for her. First she votes for the stimulus. Now this.”

Erickson says he used a similar tactic in January, encouraging readers to send rubber balls to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky “to remind him he needed to grow a pair and fight the Democrats.” About 200 were shipped. “We talked to staffers who said they were all generally annoyed but they got the point,” Erickson says.

Side-Note: I wish I could see the look on that lady’s face when 240 bags of rock salt come pulling up to her office. Priceless.

Props Eric Erickson.

CBS' liberal bias.

CBS' liberal bias.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the people behind CBS?

Answer: Liberal bias.

Oh my God! It’s absolutely shocking! Haha. No, not really… Mika Brzezinski says that during her 10 years at CBS, she knew of one George W. Bush supporter.

Hmm… that wouldn’t lead to any type of bias towards Republicans or Democrats, would it? You decide, but it’s a common sense answer.

Side-Note: I find it interesting that this came out on MSNBC. Now if only they would of dug down deep to confirm the 100% liberal working staff at their own cable-television network, haha.
