Hippies-Cry-Over-Trees

Really...???

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the forests in North Carolina?

Answer: Some really emotional hippies.

HAHA! I’m sorry, but I could not control my laugher on this video. I realize there are determined environmentalists out there, but these people are taking it JUST a little far. That’s my opinion and your welcome to yours.

Best comment in response to this video clip on YouTube goes to CinFan944:

I just went out and bought a box of paper and burned it. Just because I saw this viedo.

Haha… Sorry emotional hippies.

Props to IMAO.

Corzine-Fading-NJ

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the liberal state of New Jersey?

Answer: Democrat Jon Corzine’s support could be fading.

One day left until the big gubernatorial election in New Jersey and Virginia! Bob McDonnell still holds very strong in Virginia, while the Democratic candidate, Jon Corzine, seems to be slipping in New Jersey:

Chris Christie leads Jon Corzine 47-41 in PPP’s final poll of the New Jersey Governor’s race, with Chris Daggett at 11%.

Corzine had pulled to within a point of Christie on our poll three weeks ago after trailing by as many as 14 points over the summer, but his momentum has stalled since then and Christie’s built his lead back up to 4 points last week and now 6.

Christie’s advantage is due largely to his support from independents and because he has Republicans more unified around him than the Democrats are around Corzine. Christie leads Corzine 52-29 with indies, as Daggett’s support with that group has declined to 16%. Christie is getting 82% of Republicans to Corzine’s 72% of Democrats.

As the campaign concludes it seems like Daggett’s presence in the race has actually ended up hurting Corzine more than Christie, contrary to the earlier conventional wisdom. 45% of Daggett voters say the incumbent is their second choice to 36% for the challenger. Daggett’s backers report having voted for Barack Obama by a 67-23 margin last year.

Bad news for Mr. Corzine, but great news for Chris Christie and conservatives! Plus, I would not worry about the accuracy of the polls too much… I’m sure they’re on point:

Bear in mind that pollsters make a big effort to get the final polls before an election correct.  They get judged on their accuracy based on the votes in the election, after all.  A big miss makes them less credible than their competition, which means less business later.  Sample problems suddenly disappear and biases get ironed out, although with PPP that has not been much of a problem anyway.

Reminder: I’m sure folks in New Jersey are sick and tired of paying enormous taxes brought on by Governor Corzine. It’s time to see a change in the liberal state of New Jersey. Constituents are voting with their feet so lookout political world… Are we about to see a shocker!?

Lets hope so.

Scozzafava-Turns-On-GOP

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Republican Dede Scozzafava?

Answer: She’s a liberal at heart.

A lot of conservative blogs have been going bananas over this subject while I haven’t really mentioned it. It’s a fascinating situation for everyone that enjoys politics. For those of you who aren’t informed on this subject, there is a special election being held tomorrow (November 3, 2009) in New York’s 23rd congressional district. Republican John McHugh resigned to become the United States Secretary of the Army and soon a successor will be elected to replace him.

Dede Scozzafava, a moderate Republican, was chosen by the local GOP to run against Democrat Bill Owens. Unfortunately for Ms. Scozzafava, many conservatives studied her record and found out she seems to be awfully liberal to wear the Republican brand. Check it out: Video 1 | Video 2

After Ms. Scozzafava received heat from true conservatives, growing support for the conservative independent, Doug Hoffman, began to skyrocket! Big names like Sarah Palin and Tim Pawlenty jumped on board Hoffman’s bandwagon to lend their endorsements. Needless to say, Dede Scozzafava ended up canceling her campaign due to her decreasing support and put a ‘W’ in the win column for true conservatives. Victory!

Turns out, after dropping out of the race, Ms. Scozzafava is now endorsing the Democrat candidate Bill Owens! Shocker:

One day after she suspended her own campaign and declined to publicly endorse either of her opponents, Republican Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava has formally announced her support for Democratic candidate Bill Owens.

Hey Ms. Scozzafava, could you be more of a traitor? Yup:

In addition, her labor leader husband, Ron McDougall, issued a late-night endorsement of Owens via a statement released by the AFL -CIO, which signaled the start of a labor wave moving from Scozzafava’s camp to Owens’ side. This could prove critical when it comes to the GOTV effort.

This woman is a joke. She’s a donkey hiding in an elephant’s clothing. Talk about doing whatever it takes to get elected. The GOP leaders who handpicked her to replace John McHugh should resign or be immediately replaced! They only wasted $900,000 of donation money… No biggie! Pff, no excuses.

Side-Note: According to Public Policy Polling, Doug Hoffman is leading 51% while Bill Owens is currently at 34%. Ouch!

Go Doug Hoffman!

*UPDATE*

Dede Scozzafava now appearing at Democratic candidate Bill Owen’s rallies:

On Sunday, at an Owens campaign event at the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall on Gouverneur Street, Mr. Owens and Ms. Scozzafava talked politics during their meeting. She warned him to avoid the “hateful and divisive” tactics she said were used by her Conservative opponent.

Did I mention that Ms. Scozzafava is a joke and a disgrace to the Republican Party??? Oh yeah, I believe I did. Oh well… Doesn’t hurt reminding people.
