V-Based-On-Obama

Wonder what you would find if you frisked ABC’s new television show V?

Answer: Could it be based on President Obama?

Whoa now! Is the media getting a little too obsessed with President Obama? Haha, of course! But maybe not when it comes to ABC’s new television show V, which premieres tonight at 8pm/7c.

Check out this review/summary and see what you think:

Imagine this. At a time of political turmoil, a charismatic, telegenic new leader arrives virtually out of nowhere. He offers a message of hope and reconciliation based on compromise and promises to marshal technology for a better future that will include universal health care.

The news media swoons in admiration — one simpering anchorman even shouts at a reporter who asks a tough question: “Why don’t you show some respect?!!” The public is likewise smitten, except for a few nut cases who circulate batty rumors on the Internet about the leader’s origins and intentions. The leader, undismayed, offers assurances that are soothing, if also just a tiny bit condescending: “Embracing change is never easy.”

Who is this starting to sound like? Haha, don’t worry it gets even better:

[...] Oh, wait – did I mention the leader is secretly a totalitarian space lizard who’s come here to eat us?

Welcome to ABC’s V, the final, the most fascinating and bound to be the most controversial new show of the fall television season. Nominally a rousing sci-fi space opera about alien invaders bent on the conquest (and digestion) of all humanity, it’s also a barbed commentary on Obamamania that will infuriate the president’s supporters and delight his detractors.

The aliens — who quickly become known as Vs, for visitors — quickly enthrall their wide-eyed human hosts with their futuristic technology (they set up a chain of medical clinics and promise “to provide medical services to all”) and their mushy we’re-all-brothers political rhetoric, the latter tinged with faint reproach.

The aliens promise universal health-care for everyone??? Hmm… Very interesting. Sounds pretty ‘hopenchangey’ if you ask me. I will have to check out this show on Hulu another night since there will be election coverage on all night!

Side-Note: Maybe the ‘birthers’ have something to go on now. Instead of not being an American born citizen… Is it possible President Obama is from outerspace!? Haha.

Obama-Care-Cost

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the latest 2,000 page House Obama-Care bill?

Answer: A price tag of $1.2 trillion… Excluding the $250 billion Doc Fix.

UNBELIEVABLE!

Leave it up to the far-left liberals to put together a health-care bill the size of the Empire State Building that’s designed to takeover 1/6 of our U.S. economy. With a price tag like that, do you people REALLY think this monstrosity won’t add a dime to the deficit???

Congratulations Democrats. You really know how to draft a bill that will bring us closer to bankruptcy:

The health care bill headed for a vote in the House this week costs $1.2 trillion or more over a decade, according to numerous Democratic officials and figures contained in an analysis by congressional budget experts, far higher than the $900 billion cited byPresident Barack Obama as a price tag for his reform plan.

Remember, this P.O.S. health-care bill doesn’t even go into effect until 2013 if it’s passed! So are you excited by the idea of paying for this liberal health-care for 4-5 years before it goes into effect? Or how about the idea that it’s scheduled to go into effect after the next election? Hmm… Just long enough to insure that Obama won’t get slammed AS hard during the next election cycle.

But no worries folks, Obama-Care is just a messily $1.2 Trillion… Or is it?:

The new total will be $1.45 trillion — because the House Leadership intends to create a “self-executing rule” that would pull the doctor fix apart from the House ObamaCare bill — in order to keep the cost at $1.2 Trillion, then fuse the doc fix back into the ObamaCare bill after it passes the House.

It is like a magic trick, presto — $250 billion in new spending just appears in the bill after it passes.

Bravo Democrats! The sneaky, anti-transparent tactics are back in full effect!

What else could be hidden in a $1.2+ trillion health-care bill?

Hmm… How about the creation of 111 new Obama-Care boards, bureaucracies, commissions, and programs! Oh yeah, the H.R. 3962 is just littered with them:

  1. Retiree Reserve Trust Fund (Section 111(d), p. 61)
  2. Grant program for wellness programs to small employers (Section 112, p. 62)
  3. Grant program for wellness programs to small employers (Section 112, p. 62)
  4. Grant program for wellness programs to small employers (Section 112, p. 62)
  5. Grant program for wellness programs to small employers (Section 112, p. 62)
  6. Grant program for wellness programs to small employers (Section 112, p. 62)
  7. Grant program for wellness programs to small employers (Section 112, p. 62)
  8. Grant program for wellness programs to small employers (Section 112, p. 62)
  9. Program for technical assistance to employees of small businesses buying Exchange coverage (Section 305(h), p. 191)
  10. Program for technical assistance to employees of small businesses buying Exchange coverage (Section 305(h), p. 191)

Yup… We got a real winner on our hands. Good luck liberals:

Try defending a $1.45 Trillion bill to independent voters already concerned about our $1.4 trillion deficit, federal funding for abortion, prohibitions on illegal immigrants getting health benefits that are not enforceable, health record databases that contain information about gun ownership, premiums that increase, your own health plan changing to fit the government run health information exchange parameters, government control and mandates over your life expanding to include payment of fines and taxes, forcing you to buy a health plan or face the IRS and a huge new entitlement program, while the bill breaks promises made the deficit, abortion, illegal immigrants, taxes and being able to keep your health plan.

Overall, it sounds like a great bill (not at all). I sense if this monstrosity passes, it will be the weapon used in multiple political suicides on the left.

Side-Note: This overhaul of health-care will result in the theft from future generations. I’m only 23 years-old, have no kids (thank God), don’t plan on it anytime soon, and I’m already thinking I need to find my future kid a job.

Lets hope Chris Christie can win in New Jersey tonight so it will send a clear message to the Blue Dog Democrats: Stop the spending!

Go-Vote

Ah yes! Another election season has begun!

As you all know, it’s November 3rd and you should all be heading to the polls sometime today. It doesn’t matter if your state is hosting a large election like Virginia or New Jersey, because there are other position out there that need your input. For example, in my home state of Michigan there are elections in 77 counties & 237 cities today! Let your voice be heard!

Lets go for the East Coast sweep!

Here’s an update on the current elections:

Of the four races, only Virginia looks like a lock.  Creigh Deeds ran against a 20-year-old college thesis and lost miserably.  Bob McDonnell’s easy sail to victory threatens to put Virginia back in the red-state column, but it could also just indicate what a terrible candidate Deeds has been.  If Virginia elects a Republican to Congress in 2012, we may be seeing a real shift, one the GOP desperately needs.

NY-23 is shaping up to be a Republican win … in a district that Democrats haven’t won in over 110 years.  The only reason it’s in play is because of the foolishness of local GOP leaders, who handpicked a terrible candidate for the special election.  A win by Douglas Hoffman will certainly energize the conservative grassroots, but either way, this race has made fools of the GOP establishment.

New Jersey would be a real coup for Republicans, for two reasons.  First, New Jersey is solidly Democratic, but unhappy.  The GOP needs an entree back into power to demonstrate how center-right governance will benefit the state and its citizens.  Despite being outspent by Jon Corzine and a false-flag third-party candidate, Chris Christie is within sight of victory in the Garden State.  The second reason is that Barack Obama poured himself into the Corzine campaign, practically taking it over in the final weeks.  A loss here would be a big blow to his prestige and a warning about the limits of his coattails in 2010.  If Obama can’t hold New Jersey, then all bets are off in Congress for the midterms and Obama’s radical domestic policy agenda.

Sorry David Harmer, but your race isn’t looking too good. After all, the district your running for borders Nancy Pelosi’s district… Scary thought, I know. We can still hope though and maybe he’ll pull through on the West Coast!

As for the elections on the East Coast, we must lookout for voter corruption. Why? Because liberals are highly known for it and especially in the state of New Jersey. Also, keep this data in mind:

The Obama administration and the media are together going to downplay today’s electoral victories for the GOP.

They will, to the mainstream media, not be relevant to or any sign of a rebuke against Barack Obama and his far left agenda.

Consider these facts:

New York-23:

  • Barack Obama sent Joe Biden to visit.
  • Obama’s White House negotiated Dede Scozzafava’s endorsement of the Democrat.
  • Scozzafava and Owens both supported and campaigned on supporting the stimulus.

New Jersey:

  • Obama sent his top pollster to take command of the race.
  • Obama visited multiple times, including the day before the election.
  • Obama is featured in most of Corzine’s advertising.
  • The Democratic Governors Association and DNC all pumped in a ton of money.
  • Corzine ran on helping Obama at the state level.

Virginia:

  • The Democratic Governors Association spent $4 million to get Creigh Deeds elected.
  • The Democratic National Committee spent $6 millino to get Deeds elected.
  • Obama campaigned for Deeds multiple times.
  • Organizing for America sent a mail piece to 300,000 “surge voters”, or voters who voted for the first time in 2008, urging them to vote for Deeds.
  • Organizing for America set up phone banks for Creigh Deeds.
So keep a heads up my fellow conservatives! The liberal media will try their best to downplay these elections and the role Obama played if Republicans/Conservatives win these elections. Mark my words!

Side-Note: It should be a very interesting day in the political world! Now go out and vote!
