Wonder what you would find if you frisked the poll numbers between former Governor Sarah Palin and President Barack Obama?

Answer: The gap shrinks to… 1.

Ut oh! Today is a good day for Sarah Palin and it probably has a few liberals freaking out:

A pair of new surveys revealing that President Obama is still declining and has hit a new low in job approval among Americans just 56 weeks after they elected him with a decided margin.

And — wait for it — Republican Sarah Palin is successfully selling a whole lot more than books out there on the road. Even among those not lining up in 10-degree weather to catch a glimpse of pretty much the only political celebrity the GOP has these days.

Obama’s new Gallup Poll job approval number is 47%.

Well, ex-Sen. Obama, meet ex-Gov. Palin.

The new CNN/Opinion Research Poll shows Palin now at 46% favorable, just one point below her fellow basketball fan.

…1,071 days before the 2012 election, when Republicans will have the concept of change on their side. Obama’s camp is already using the looming Palin pall as a fundraising tool. Never let any potential threat go unmonetized.

Interesting… Very interesting! After all, President Obama has been absolutely crushed by the polls this week:

  • Barack Obama’s presidential job approval rating is at 47%. Not only is that a new low for him, but it’s the lowest ever recorded for any president at this point in his term. Props to Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, and even George W. Bush for beating the Messiah this far into their presidencies – ouch!
  • Only 26% think the president, who has been in office for less than a year, deserves to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Congratulations to Sarah Palin and a “it was bound to happen” to President Obama! Haha.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the students of Detroit, Michigan?

Answer: They scored the record low on a national math test.

Being a Michigander myself, this is some real depressing news. Ouch:

Detroit Public Schools students posted the worst math results ever recorded in the 40-year history of a prestigious nationwide test, according to scores released today.

Sixty-nine percent of fourth-graders and 77 percent of eighth-graders scored below basic skill levels in math on the National Assessment of Educational Progress, a standardized test that serves as a nationwide yardstick in measuring student learning.

“These numbers are only slightly better than what one would expect by chance as if the kids had never gone to school and simply guessed at the answers,” said Michael Casserly, executive director of the Washington-based Council of the Great City Schools, which represents large urban school districts. “These numbers … are shocking and appalling and should not be allowed to stand.”

The average composite score for fourth-graders was 200 (on a scale of 0-500), and the national average was 239. The results show DPS students had trouble with basic skills. Just 33 percent of fourth-graders could subtract 75 from 301, whereas 67 percent of kids nationwide correctly computed the answer.

The average composite score for eighth-graders was 238 (not comparable to the fourth-graders’ scale), whereas the nationwide average was 282. Students had trouble on questions ranging from geometry to estimation.

Here’s the results and a couple sample questions:

The rest of Michigan’s students seemed to perform quite well, but something obviously needs to change in the city of Detroit’s academic plan. It’s time for politicians and educational leaders to stop playing politics while the children are struggling to comprehend simple concepts. Otherwise, the state of Michigan will be responsible for slightly encouraging another generation to grow up and depend on money from a President’s “stash.”

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Sarah Palin’s book tour stop in Minneapolis, Minnesota?

Answer: Some unwelcome tomatoes.

FOX News reports:

A man was arrested for allegedly throwing two tomatoes at Sarah Palin from the second floor balcony during a book signing event at the Mall of America in Minnesota

Neither tomato came close hitting the former 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, but did hit a police officer in the face, the station reported.

Honestly… All I can do is shake my head at these types of people. Another example of a far-left crazy who displays no reasoned debate or valid discussion. Instead, he resorts to insults and violence. It’s a good thing common sense and decent individuals out-number these radicals. Hopefully Mr. Olsen apologizes to Bloomington Commander Mark Stehlik and charged with assaulting a police officer.

If you would like to see photos of this moron getting arrested, click here.

Side-Note: Apparently this kid can’t throw an object that well if didn’t even come close to hitting his target. Hmm… That reminds of someone, but I can’t quite put my finger on it…

Thinking… :?

Oh! I got it:

 Video here.

MSNBC's Chris Matthews.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews?

Answer: He tries desperately to attack Sarah Palin with every possible breath.

Yes, I know… Should we really be surprised? No, not really but it’s always a good time to point how ‘out there’ some people are on the far-left.

First, Politico‘s Jonathan Martin starts out by describing the excited crowd at Sarah Palin’s book signing in Iowa and out of nowhere you hear:

Were they all white people?

Really Chris Matthews? Haven’t you already tried and failed at going down that road? For for the far-left to claim it’s all about diversity, they sure LOVE to throw out the issue of race when it helps their own agenda: Demonize the opposition. In this case, a popular conservative woman that liberals fear more than a four year-old fears the Bogeyman.

Oh, but of course Chris Matthews’ liberal hypocrisy only gets better as he goes on to blurt out:

Does it bother the press that somebody comes in there, whose book was written for them – and this is people who work. You write every day. You sweat it out getting the right words, thinking how to organize a piece, intellectualizing it and then putting it on paper. And I’m sorry, and reporting it to start with. It’s a lot of work, being a reporter. I’ve seen you guys on deadline. It’s hard work. Don’t you essentially disrespect somebody who walks in and puts a book on the table and said they wrote it, when you know somebody else did? Who comes in and gives a speech that you know somebody else wrote all the jokes for and gave it to her and she paid for it probably? Doesn’t that bother you guys? I’m arguing there.

This is coming from a guy who was a ghostwriter for politicians (including Jimmy Carter) in the past! Typical liberal move on Chris Matthew’s part. He’s simply trying desperately to portray Sarah Palin as an illiterate politican because of  her conservative beliefs. Hmm… If I recall, famous Democratic leaders also used ghostwriters for their books! Just to name a few: Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and The Messiah himself: Barack Obama!

Personally I don’t mind authors ghostwriting for politicians (Democrats or Republicans), but when you attack a prominent conservative figure for it while the man that made a thrill go up your leg did the same thing… I simply say: Chris Matthews, just shut up!
