Wonder what you would find if you frisked Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) and how he’s spending your tax dollars?

Answer: He’s spending them on his “greatest hits” DVD!

No, he’s not a musician. Unfortunately, it’s a DVD filled with video highlights from his first term in office. Lame, pointless, and pathetic? Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The Orlando Sentinel reports:

If U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson were a rock star, his latest PR blitz — a DVD sent to tens of thousands of Central Florida residents — would be called Grayson’s Greatest Hits.

The 90-minute disc features video highlights from his first term in office, including one of him grilling Fed Chairman Ben Bernankeand another in which the Orlando Democrat preaches on the need to teach schoolchildren about the U.S. Constitution.

The DVD comes wrapped inside a mailer covered with promotional slogans: “Congressman Alan Grayson, Hard at Work for You,” “He works hard. He pays attention. He gets things done,” and “Video DVD Inside: Watch Congressman Grayson in Action!”

In many ways, it’s the perfect campaign video — with one key difference.

Thanks to perks given to all members of Congress, it’s not Grayson’s campaign but taxpayers who footed the nearly $73,000 bill to produce and mail the DVD to 100,000 homes in Grayson’s district of Lake, Marion, Orange and Osceola counties.

It’s a stunt that drew howls from Republicans, who complained that Grayson was abusing the congressional privilege of franking that allows lawmakers to send taxpayer-paid newsletters and other mail to residents.

“This is an outrageous abuse of taxpayer dollars, and it goes to show that Alan Grayson is completely out of touch with Central Florida,” said state Rep. Kurt Kelly of Ocala, one of seven Republicans looking to unseat Grayson this fall.

“This is just ridiculous behavior. What congressman would do this in the face of a huge budget deficit?” he asked.

To answer the columnist’s last question, Rep. Alan Grayson… That’s who.

If central Floridians elect this man again, I think we will have to issue straight-jackets for those in his congressional district. The man is a joke and an absolute clown.

Here’s what his “greatest hits” DVD should have included:

Rep. Grayson is a disgrace!

Pres. Obama putting.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked President Obama and how he has handled the oil disaster in the Gulf?

Answer: Here’s a timeline to show you!

Via The Right Scoop.

I must admit, I do love myself a nice round of golf on a gorgeous summer day. Fortunately for me, I’m not the leader of the greatest country on Earth who has told the American people repeatedly that he will not rest until the oil spill is handled. Funny… By ‘not resting’ he must have meant that golfing, fundraisers, and parties are key-steps in handling the oil disaster down in the Gulf of Mexico. Personally, I didn’t know that but he’s the president and must know something we don’t… right?

Check out more of Obama’s Gulf Coast Failures.

The incompetence of our current president is almost staggering and as you can see from the video clip above, it’s not just those on right thinking that.

Mike Bouchard.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Michigan’s Republican Primary for Governor?

Answer: Mike Bouchard’s momentum is building with one week to go!

Today, Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard – Republican candidate for governor – released his latest political television commercial titled, “It’s Time” after some good news:

With $846K left in the bank, Bouchard enters the final stretch with more cash than anyone else on either side, edging out businessman Rick Snyder (R) by more than $34K.

[...]

That money assures Bouchard will be able to compete on-air with the other GOPers during the closing weeks at a level he has not done throughout the campaign. He’s taken a risk by running the farthest to the right in the field, territory occupied by Cox prior to the right-to-work announcement.

However, with money now at his side and GOP voters likely starting to tune in, watch for Bouchard to make his run away from also-ran status to become a serious contender.

Mike Bouchard’s latest television commercial references an old advertisement from his 2006 U.S. Senate campaign where he plays the “overly protective” father while his daughter is on a date. This time around, Bouchard is not worried about his daughter dating anymore… He’s worried about her future and keeping his family in Michigan. In my opinion, this latest political commercial is a great move by his campaign to help build his already growing momentum with less than a week to go.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Senator John Kerry (D-MA) and his beloved yacht named Isabel?

Answer: He docks his luxury yacht in Rhode Island to avoid Massachusetts taxes.

The hypocrisy is never ending within the liberal cesspool. The Boston Herald reports:

Sen. John Kerry, who has repeatedly voted to raise taxes while in Congress, dodged a whopping six-figure state tax bill on his new multimillion-dollar yacht by mooring her in Newport, R.I.

Isabel – Kerry’s luxe, 76-foot New Zealand-built Friendship sloop with an Edwardian-style, glossy varnished teak interior, two VIP main cabins and a pilothouse fitted with a wet bar and cold wine storage – was designed by Rhode Island boat designer Ted Fontaine.

But instead of berthing the vessel in Nantucket, where the senator summers with the missus, Teresa Heinz, Isabel’s hailing port is listed as “Newport” on her stern.

Could the reason be that the Ocean State repealed its Boat Sales and Use Tax back in 1993, making the tiny state to the south a haven – like the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Nassau – for tax-skirting luxury yacht owners?

Cash-strapped Massachusetts still collects a 6.25 percent sales tax and an annual excise tax on yachts. Sources say Isabel sold for something in the neighborhood of $7 million, meaning Kerry saved approximately $437,500 in sales tax and an annual excise tax of about $70,000.

Typical liberal… Raise taxes to the point that it’s crippling and then dodge them in the end. Life must be nice.

“He’s ready to change things in Lansing to get Michigan back to work. He has the knowledge, experience and backbone to make the tough choices from day one to turn our state around.”

First, let’s look at reality: Michigan is a state that has been pinned down in a recession for years and currently holds the nation’s second highest unemployment rate. Secondly, due to term limits, more than half of the lawmakers now in the state Legislature will be gone from their current seats starting in 2011. That is a lot of unexperienced newcomers entering office and Michigan’s next governor won’t have time for on-the-job training.

Mike Bouchard has been a small business owner, leader in the state legislature under Governor Engler during Michigan’s roaring 90′s, and now manages the largest sheriff’s office in the state:

He’ll be able to bring his knowledge from serving as a leader in the state Senate to develop lasting solutions. He was in the Senate when our leaders worked together to deliver balanced budgets and tax cuts every year he was there. As Assistant Senate Majority Leader, he worked closely with leaders like Governor Engler and then-Senate Majority Leader Posthumus. Mike placed a priority on helping families. He pushed for the Michigan Sex Offender Registry requiring sex offenders to register with local law enforcement agencies and making that information publicly available for concerned parents and neighbors. He also chaired the education committee where he worked to empower parents and students to make more decisions about their future.

As Senator, Mike led efforts that made Michigan more business and people friendly, as well as a leader on cutting taxes. He wrote the real estate transfer tax cut that has saved Michigan taxpayers billions of dollars. In fact, keeping with his record, Mike was the first candidate in the governor’s race to sign the Americans for Tax Reform’s (ATR) “Taxpayer Protection Pledge” – pledging to fight “any and all efforts to increase taxes.” Like many Michigan families, he knows that government can’t tax or spend its way to prosperity.

Just a politician? Nope. Meet Sheriff Bouchard:

Having run one of the largest sheriff departments in the country for nearly a decade, he learned how to separate “needs” from “wants”. As Oakland County Sheriff, he manages 1,200 employees with an annual budget of more than $130 million. He’s always finding innovative and creative ways to save taxpayer money while continuing to deliver on his department’s core mission to protect the community.

[...] He is also part of the Oakland County team that anticipates potential budget shortfalls by operating on a three-year rolling budget. That kind of foresight and planning has made Oakland County one of only 40 counties – out of over 3,000 – in America that has a AAA bond rating. But he’s also had to make the tough choices during these difficult economic times – including cutting back his budget by up to 20 percent over the past several years while not sacrificing community safety.

Not enough experience? How about this:

As sheriff, Bouchard has been quick to help out his comrades. He worked Ground Zero after Sept. 11 and organized one of the first convoys to respond after Hurricane Katrina ripped through the Gulf Coast.

I think it is safe to say that Mike Bouchard is the only candidate who has the experience and backbone to be Michigan’s next successful governor and fix our great state!

Here are some highlights from Bouchard’s plan that will help fix Lansing and get Michigan back to work:

JOBS:

  • Bouchard will eliminate the oppressive Michigan Business Tax.
  • Michigan’s business permitting process will be reformed, with some permit mandates eliminated and the rest simplified. The review process will be expedited and timeliness set in stone.
  • Create a climate where jobs can flourish again and would restore Michigan’s economic competitiveness with other states and countries.
  • Bouchard is willing to make the bold, dramatic changes necessary in order to send a message to the rest of the world that Michigan is serious about competing for jobs. One such dramatic move would be making Michigan a Right-to-Work state.

ECONOMY:

  • The Michigan Economic Development Corporation will be transparent and Bouchard’s administration will consolidate the present 300 pages of economic development laws into a single, coherent Michigan Economic Development Code, which will be easy to follow.
  • “Michigan Construction Jobs Now” plan: For a year, this proposal will allow homeowners and businesses to renovate, remodel and expand without an increase on their property tax bill. This plan will also lead to long-term investments in Michigan by encouraging homeowners and job providers to enhance the value of their properties now.
  • Pursue public-private partnerships which will reduce state spending and create jobs.

TAX REFORM:

  • Besides eliminating the oppressive Michigan Business Tax, Michigan’s tax policy should not be about picking winners and losers. We must concentrate on reducing the tax burden for all Michigan companies rather than a select few.
  • Bouchard was the first candidate in the governor’s race to sign the Americans for Tax Reform’s “Taxpayer Protection Pledge” – pledging to fight “any and all efforts to increase taxes”.
  • EXPERIENCE: When Bouchard was a state senator, he wrote the Real Estate Transfer Tax cut, saving Michigan taxpayers $358 MILLION annually. In addition, he is opposed to all increases in the marginal tax rate for both individuals and businesses.

GOVERNMENT REFORM:

  • As governor, he will mandate a two-thirds supermajority be required in each chamber to raise taxes or increase spending. This reform protects taxpayers and businesses now and in the future so they will have a stable tax environment in which to invest in Michigan and create jobs.
  • Implement a part-time legislature, which gives lawmakers part-time pay and eliminates health-care benefits.
  • Implement a two-year budget with a three-year financial outlook based on externally verified numbers, instead of the existing crisis-driven process which has resulted in the government nearly shutting down in two of the last three years.
  • Mandate a hard May 15 budget deadline. If lawmakers miss they deadline, they will be docked a day’s pay, along with the governor and lieutenant governor, for each day the budget is late.
  • Require all public service employees, on average to have wages and benefits that are within 3 percent of those comparable skills in the private sector. It is time Lansing mirrored the reality of the people it serves.

EDUCATION:

  • Continue supporting charter schools and school competition. Charters and schools of choice empower parents to make the educational decisions that best suits their children.
  • Teacher merit pay also falls along these lines. Nothing demoralizes an excellent educator more than seeing other teachers retaining positions and obtaining more pay because they’ve been in the system another year.  Teaching is not a job but a calling and we must motivate, support, encourage and reward.
  • Put every available dollar into the classroom and have every school district competitively bid out secondary services, such as busing, janitorial and food service, on an intermediate school district level.

PUBLIC SAFETY:

  • Under a Bouchard administration instead of releasing Michigan’s career criminals from prison to save money, we will find reforms and tighten budgets to better protect the public.
  • EXPERIENCE: In Oakland County, Bouchard privatized the jail food service, saving taxpayers over $1.6 million a year. If our leaders in Lansing took the same approach, according to a 2008 audit by the non-partisan Auditor General, a statewide implementation would save Michigan taxpayers $38 MILLION or more annually. Those savings would help us keep the criminals behind bars, not on our streets. Michigan leads the Midwest in violent crime, has the least police officers per capita and dumping another 1,700 career criminals back into the streets of the state with the highest unemployment rate will lead to disastrous results.

HEALTHCARE:

  • Look at withholding federal tax revenues generated in Michigan to force the federal government to abandon all unfunded and unconstitutional mandates.
  • With $700 million from the unfunded healthcare mandate we could create a system to help the uninsured receive treatment in a more cost effective preventative manner that does not destroy the health care system and still have money for other priorities.
  • Bouchard will put the federal government on notice.  Any additional unfunded mandates on Michigan will be met with a tough fight under a Bouchard administration.
  • Government should focus on making healthcare more affordable, available and patient centered. They should not be forcing the public to purchase a product.

OUTDOORS/HUNTING:

  • Bouchard will protect the rights of fishing and outdoor enthusiasts, and ensure they have a say in discussions about land and water use.
  • Under a Bouchard administration, outdoors enthusiasts will know they will have no stronger advocate. Hunters and anglers will have a seat at the table when decisions about land and water use are made.  Additionally, I will preserve Michigan’s hunting and fishing traditions and its incredible natural resources for future generations.
  • We need more emphasis on getting young people into outdoor activities by offering more free fishing weekends and a two-for-one hunting license for parents and their children.
  • Bouchard would appoint members to the state’s Natural Resources Commission who share my commitment to preserving Michigan’s hunting and fishing traditions, and safeguarding our state’s natural resources.
  • EXPERIENCE: Bouchard has always been a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment.  He’s a long-time NRA member, a gun owner, and an avid hunter.  He believes in the U.S. Constitution and the protection of our individual rights. He has received “A” ratings and endorsements from the NRA and the Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners in each of my previous elections. He will continue to fight for sportsmen’s rights across the state.

Sen. Majority Leader Reid (D-NV).

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s thoughts on the automotive industry bailouts?

Answer: He believes that Ford, which refused to take government bailout money, only survived because of the government bailout.

 Hmm… How does that one work? Simple: It doesn’t.

In reality (not Harry Reid’s liberal dream-world), Ford did have the chance to accept government bailout money, but chose not to. Isn’t it interesting that the only one of the Big Three who didn’t accept government money is doing the best?

What would have happened if none of them accepted those taxpayer bailout dollars? The Blog Prof believes that the government’s interference in the process did more harm than good:

Without the bailouts, GM and Chrysler could have gone through bankruptcy restructuring without the 800-lb government gorilla on their backs. As it is, the bankruptcy restructuring occurred in a way to help Obama’s primary constituency – unions – rather than the long-term health of the companies. We are yet to see whether the restructuring will work, but if it does, it will be despite the government takeover, not because of it. There are in fact plenty of good people still working for the autos. I know because some of them have been my best engineering students.

And Ed Morrissey – from Hot Air – sums it up:

And don’t forget that we spent over $60 billion on those bailouts just to see the companies go into bankruptcy anyway.  A proper bankruptcy would have maintained order in capital markets and reallocated resources rationally without the $62 billion in taxpayer money that we had to borrow for the bailout.  As we service that debt, it will come out of the pockets of Americans who might otherwise have spent it on actual growth-producing activities — like buying cars.

Good thing I don't need one!

Wonder what you would find if you frisked all those car owners who still have an Obama bumper sticker on their car?

Answer: They’re in desperate need of a B.S. Scraper!

The video clip asks, “Has this ever happened to you? You vote for a charismatic young politician only to be disappointed by his undelivered promises of hope and change?”

Fortunately for me, I did not vote for Barack Obama, because socialistic tendencies do not grab my attention.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the liberal mainstream media during the 2008 presidential election?

Answer: They tried to kill stories about Obama’s ties to Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

…And this isn’t right-wing paranoia either. There is documents to prove it! Jonathan Strong – from The Daily Caller – reports:

It was the moment of greatest peril for then-Sen. Barack Obama’s political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher’s rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama’s campaign.

The crisis reached a howling pitch in mid-April, 2008, at an ABC News debate moderated by Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos. Gibson asked Obama why it had taken him so long – nearly a year since Wright’s remarks became public – to dissociate himself from them. Stephanopoulos asked, “Do you think Reverend Wright loves America as much as you do?”

Watching this all at home were members of Journolist, a listserv comprised of several hundred liberal journalists, as well as like-minded professors and activists. The tough questioning from the ABC anchors left many of them outraged. “George [Stephanopoulos],” fumed Richard Kim of the Nation, is “being a disgusting little rat snake.”

Others went further. According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

Michael Tomasky, a writer for the Guardian, also tried to rally his fellow members of Journolist: “Listen folks–in my opinion, we all have to do what we can to kill ABC and this idiocy in whatever venues we have. This isn’t about defending Obama. This is about how the [mainstream media] kills any chance of discourse that actually serves the people.”

Oh boy… Doesn’t that sound familiar? One again, we see how quickly and often the far-left media is willing pull out the ‘race-card’ in order to demonize the opposition. Quite pathetic if you ask me.

Rep. Sheila Jackson (D-TX-18).

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the comments made by U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX)?

Answer: Something went wrong during her education process.

Reminder: This lady somehow made it through Yale and onto the University of Virginia Law School…

Moe Lane – from Red State – did the congresswoman a favor and pointed out a slight flaw:

For the benefit of any natural born damned fools that may have wandered in: there is no South Vietnam anymore.  It was conquered by North Vietnam in 1975, shortly after a Democratic Congress – yes, the same political party as Rep. Jackson-Lee’s – defunded the defense of South Vietnam, in defiance of our promises made to that unhappy country as part of the cease-fire that ended the Vietnam War.  They are not living together side by side as two countries.  Because, well, again, the North Vietnamese conquered the South.

Oops! Does Rep. Jackson-Lee’s ignorance stop there? Of course not! The congresswoman told the NAACP this week that those who wore sheets lifted them off and are now wearing tea party clothing:

And I thank you professor very much. I’m going to be engaging you with those very powerful numbers that you have offered on what the tea party recognizes, uh, or is recognized as. Might I add my own P.S.? All those who wore sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing [applause], uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the tea party. Don’t you be fooled.  [voices: "That's right.", applause] Those who used to wear sheets are now being able to walk down the aisle and speak as a patriot because you will not speak loudly about the lack of integrity of this movement. Don’t let anybody tell you that those who spit on us as we were walking to vote on a health care bill for all of America or those who said Congresswoman Jackson-Lee’s braids were too tight in her hair had anything to do with justice and equality and empowerment of the American people. Don’t let them fool you on that [applause]….

Okay… Now this woman is just being a complete idiot. Plus, I am glad she brought up the “people spit on us as we were walking to vote on a health care bill” and “called us racial slurs” issue, because it is completely FALSE. The ignorance of some of these liberals in office perplexes me at times. Andrew Breitbart already put that claim to rest when he offered a $100,000 reward to anyone producing such evidence. In the end, the place was crawling with cameras and no one has stepped forward… Funny huh?

Still not enough proof that this congresswoman lacked something in her education process? In 2005, she asked if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong. Seriously!?

And to think… These are the people in office that truly believe they can run one-sixth of our economy (health-care) and regulate our financial system. I don’t know about you, but this is quite frightening!

Personally, I think this post is enough proof that this woman needs to be removed from office. Lucky for us, there’s a Republican running against her! Please, click below and support John Faulk for Congress:

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the ideology of liberals/progressives?

Answer: What they actually believe… Duh.

Arnold Ahlert – from the Jewish World Review – breaks it down:

You’re a liberal/progressive if you believe…

  • “legal” and “illegal” alien are interchangeable terms. You also think the federal government should be siding with illegal aliens against the people of Arizona because those people have no business protecting their lives and property, even though the federal government refuses to do it. For you, any attempt to restrict illegal immigration is inherently racist.
  • that any law with which you disagree should be ignored or overturned by an activist judiciary. It doesn’t matter if these laws are passed by state legislatures or voter referendums — or enforced by a particular court ruling that goes against your worldview, as in a recent ruling preventing the Obama administration from enforcing a deep-water drilling moratorium. If you don’t like a law, you don’t have to obey it — period.
  • having an armed criminal population and a disarmed public makes that public safer. This is a natural outflow from your assumptions that: most Americans are far too stupid to handle guns properly; firearms per se are to be feared; criminals are actually victims because the “root causes” that shaped their lives — as opposed to rotten choices — made them criminals; that a certain percentage of Americans should “put up” with being mugged or murdered to satisfy your anti-gun, or “gun free zone” sensibilities; that the Second Amendment’s “right to bear arms shall not be infringed” is open to “interpretation,” or should be allowed to be effectively neutered by local government officials.
  • increased government spending is the path to prosperity. It doesn’t matter how many times this Keynesian economic model has failed or how many times its exact opposite — tax cuts and lower spending — has succeeded. It doesn’t matter that $865 billion of “stimulus” hasn’t stimulated anything other than government payrolls and political cronies, or that the path we’re on is completely unsustainable. That the exact same policy of “doubling-down” on massive amounts of debt would be considered insane were it undertaken by any business or individual is completely irrelevant.
  • a public school student who comes to the conclusion that 2+2=5 should get partial credit — for putting the numbers in the right order or proper usage of the “plus” and “equal” signs. Such thinking is a natural extension of the idea that: 1. self-esteem — absent anything resembling genuine achievement — is the ultimate measurement of a child’s “success” or 2. a “passing grade” should be low enough to allow the education establishment to claim they’re doing a “better” job of educating American kids than they were before. You also believe that every problem created by public school unions and their political lackeys can be solved with more money.
  • a fetus and a human being are two completely different things, and that anyone old enough to get pregnant is old enough to have an abortion without any parental involvement whatsoever. You also have no problem with millions of innocents being “terminated” even as you hold candle-light vigils for death-row inmates and convicted cop-killers.
  • telling our enemies when we’ll be withdrawing our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan is “sound” military strategy; giving mass murdering, non-uniformed, international terrorists Constitutional protections and civilian trials is a good thing; the mainstream media publishing top-secret information in the middle of a war isn’t irresponsible; the United States is as much to blame for international terror as the terrorists themselves; that the formerly “good war” in Afghanistan is now as bad as the “bad war” in Iraq, which was fought strictly for oil; and that Iran should be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons because “fair is fair.”
  • a health care bill which completely ignores billions of savings that would have been produced by tort reform, collects ten years of funding for six years of spending, separates billion of dollars in physician payments into another bill, and insures an additional thirty-two million people — Americans and illegals alike — is really “revenue neutral.”
  • the Bush administration “dropped the ball” with respect to Hurricane Katrina, but the Obama administration was on the BP oil spill “from day one.” It was “all Bush’s fault” that then-Governor of Louisiana Katherine Blanco rejected his offer to put troops in New Orleans two days before the hurricane arrived, and that New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin told people to evacuate to an ill-equipped Superdome while hundreds of buses that could have transported residents out of the city sat idle. On the other hand, it’s all BP’s fault that the Obama administration has turned the Gulf clean-up into a bureaucratic nightmare of studies, red tape and the refusal of help from foreign sources for months.
  • America’s “addiction to oil” has nothing to do with technological reality, and that we can snap our fingers and a “green energy” future will magically appear. A nice corollary is the idea “electric cars” are a panacea. Sounds really swell until one remembers that 50% of our electricity is coal-generated. Wind and solar? The wind doesn’t always blow and the sun doesn’t always shine — meaning an “old-fashioned” back-up grid is a necessity.
  • mortgages should be made available to people who can’t afford them — and that the same “affirmative action mentality” which has led led to job quotas, and double standards in college admissions, passing grades on fireman and police tests, and non-bid government contracts for minority owned business should extend to owning a home. You think contaminating the entire economy with bad home loans is a small price to pay for “social justice,”which is why Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are still doing business — and still losing billions of taxpayer dollars.
  • the mainstream media is completely unbiased — except for Fox News. Fox is singled out because they dare to question the radical agenda of the Obama administration and our Democratically-controlled Congress, or because they broadcast news stories that other organizations consider “unimportant” — like the video of the New Black Panthers intimidating voters in Philadelphia in 2008. Now that the Justice Dept. has inexplicably dropped the case against the Panthers, you don’t consider it necessary to “inflame” Americans by letting them see exactly what happened with their own eyes — or making their own judgments without having them “explained” by a media “expert.”
  • common sense and common decency are no match for an Ivy League education. Anyone who hasn’t attended the “right schools” is a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal “clinging” to guns and religion, a racist “tea-bagger,” or complete idiot incapable of taking care of himself. It is one of the primary reasons you despise a solid citizen like Sarah Palin and revere an empty suit like Barack Obama. It is also why you consider it perfectly acceptable to put a completely inexperienced, intellectually vapid, radical like Elena Kagan on the Supreme Court.
  • Americans are inherently stupid. While this is similar to the preceding idea, it needs to be mentioned separately for one important reason: it is your fundamental rationale for the exponential expansion of government. You are completely comfortable with government ordering Americans to live a particular lifestyle you consider healthy and/or enlightened. Anyone who disagrees with any component of your worldview is to be pitied for their “lack of insight,” or held in contempt for their “obvious” intellectual shortcomings.
  • anything which casts America in a positive light is automatically circumspect. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, you believe all societies and cultures are “equally viable,” and anything which even hints at American exceptionalism, or patriotism — including the singing of the National Anthem in public schools — is to be condemned as “imperialistic jingoism.”
  • competition is repugnant. Everyone is entitled to a trophy, honors classes in schools should be less “restrictive” and keeping score in sporting contests is too injurious to a child’s self-esteem. Free enterprise is “unfair” because it rewards people for their ambition, risk-taking and hard work — all of which must be “mitigated” by government to ensure the “equality of outcome,” because “equality of opportunity” produces winners and losers — a “division” which must be avoided at all costs.
  • right and wrong are “relative,” all morality is “individual,” and government is a viable substitute for personal responsibility. ” Do as I say, not as I do “is a perfectly acceptable method of dealing with people who can’t understand that those with “superior wisdom” are entitled to certain privileges unavailable to the riff raff known as ordinary Americans.

 Well said sir.
