Wonder what you would find if you frisked MSNBC and all the other liberal mainstream media outlets?

Answer: They are trying to paint FOX News as an illegitimate news organization (again), because Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation has donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association.

 Sounds like we got a huge scandal on our hands, don’t we?! In reality (something liberals don’t experience too often), it’s not a big deal at all. Why? Well, it’s simply the liberal mainstream media/Obama propaganda machine going full speed ahead while forgetting to mention a few key points. Perhaps, Keith Olbermann, the idiot from Media Matters, or the rest of the MSM could have asked, “Has Rupert Murdoch ever donated large sums of money to the Democratic Party?” The Washington Post has that answer:

Until now, the News Corp./Fox political action committee had given 54 percent of its donations to Democrats and 46 percent to Republicans, according to the Center for Responsive Politics — including $8,000 to Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid’s campaign committee and $5,000 toHouse Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s organization. News Corp. also gave $45,000 each to GOP and Democratic campaign committees on Capitol Hill.

 Oh my God! No way! That’s so weird! Why would Keith Olbermann or any of the other far-left liberal loons forget to mention the other side of the story? Say it with me now: prop·a·gan·da…

Also, maybe the far-left would like to explain this little recent moment in history:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., attended a fundraiser Monday for her Senate re-election campaign hosted by conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch.

Murdoch has maintained that Clinton has been a good senator and that his support for her now doesn’t say anything about who he might back for president in 2008.

Oops! That must have slipped their minds as well, but no worries… Comedian John Stewart has also attacked Fox News for Rupert Murdoch’s $1 million donation to the RGA. Unfortunately for Mr. Stewart, he also failed to look at the bigger picture: How much money did Viacom (the parent company of Comedy Central) donate to Democrats throughout the years? Interestingly enough, so far this year Viacom has contributed 62% of its money to Democrats and only 38% to Republicans. Should we stop there? No, what would be the fun in that? In 2008, the ratio just so happened to be 58% Democrats and only 42% Republicans.

Liberal hypocrisy? You betcha.

Reminder: Jeffrey Immelt (CEO of NBC Universal parent GE) is on President Obama’s economic advisory board. If anyone would like to criticize a news organization for being in bed with politicians, perhaps they should look at that relationship first. Don’t you think?

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the latest political advertisement from the National Republican Senatorial Committee?

Answer: Perhaps the Republican Party isn’t as “extreme” as the mainstream media portrays them to be.

Instead, it’s the out of control “Spendocrats” who are extreme:

  • 57% think the Democrat agenda is “extreme”.
  • 60% favor repeal of Obama-Care.
  • 56% disapprove of Obama’s job performance.
  • 61% favor immigration laws like Arizona just passed.
  • 68% oppose the Ground Zero mosque.
  • 65% are angry at federal government policies.
  • 65% say America is on the wrong track.

When one takes a glance at the numbers above, they have to just sit back and think: “Ouch!” I give major props to the National Republican Senatorial Committee for putting together this advertisement. A lot of conservatives and Republicans out there (including me) feel like it’s about time the GOP put something together that captured the current attitude of America. In the end, hopefully this ad will become a viral success story for the NRSC and help stir up some Republican support amongst the independent/moderate-Democrat demographic. As Jim Geraghty – from The National Review – points out, “Their closing sequence, showcasing that the so-called extreme candidates are either leading or in dead heats, feels like a professional athlete responding to a trash-talker by pointing to the scoreboard.” … So true and brilliant.

With President Obama taking a break from his golf game and retreating to the summer vacation island of Martha’s Vineyard today, this advertisement would be absolutely perfect if it were broardcasted on national television. Oh, just imagine the possibilities…

Question: Could we expect a similar ad by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) in the near future or do we not want to ruin a good thing?
