Wonder what you would find if you frisked the Democratic Party two years ago?

Answer: They passed the failed $787+ billion Stimulus Package.

Props the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) for the advertisement.

The Speaker of the House Blog reports:

Two years ago today, President Obama signed the trillion-dollar “stimulus” amid promises it would keep unemployment below eight percent and create jobs “almost immediately.”  Today, the Obama Administration has little to show for its trillion-dollar, taxpayer-funded “investment” except for more red ink and more out of work Americans.  Here’s a by-the-numbers look at the budget-busting, job-destroying failure that is the President’s “stimulus”:

  • U.S. Debt on February 17, 2009: $6.48 trillion
  • U.S. Debt today: $9.5 trillion
  • Number of jobs the “stimulus” was supposed to create: 3.5 million
  • Private sector jobs lost since the “stimulus” was signed: 1.8 million
  • Obama Administration’s projected unemployment rate at the two-year mark of the “stimulus”: 7 percent
  • Actual unemployment rate: 9 percent

Do you remember this chart the Obama administration presented to the American public before the failed Stimulus Package was passed into law?:

I realize the chart above is a little outdated, but the unemployment rate is still above 9 percent. Also, just two years ago, our national debt was $10.79 trillion and now it has topped $14 trillion. That’s equivalent to adding an additional $39,660 per household.

Just like the political advertisement said above, “two years of liberal economics have failed America.”

It’s time ignore the spin and wake up to reality: The Stimulus Package has FAILED.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked President Obama during his press conference on his latest budget proposal?

It happens…

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the George Soros-funded smear site Think Progress?

Answer: A liberal blogger that really sucks at his job.

Fox Nation reports:

Yesterday at CPAC in Washington DC, a liberal blogger from a Soros-funded smear site attempted to “ambush” Fox News’ Jesse Watters, who was covering the conservative conference for FoxNation.com and whose “ambush” interviews are frequently featured on The O’Reilly Factor. It was an embarrassing disaster for the little left-wing blogger. We’re surprised he posted the video because it was such a failure, but thrilled he did.

Haha. “Watch the blazer, bro.”

For the record, this is how you ambush.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked John Gage who is the President of the American Federation of Government Employees?

Answer: He believes the people who want to cut spending are “mentally retarded.”

Wow… Tell us what you really think Mr. Gage.

He must have not received the memo informing him that public-sector pensions are a huge burden on local, state, and federal government budgets. Ultimately, something has to and will be done.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked this Pepsi Max commercial that aired during the Super Bowl?

Answer: Apparently, it is outrageous for a African-American male to look at a Caucasian female.

At least that is what US Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) seems to think. The Hill reports:

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) took to the House floor Tuesday night to criticize what she called a “demeaning” Pepsi ad that aired during the Super Bowl.

Jackson Lee said it was ridiculous for the soft drink maker to air the advertisement during African-American history month.

“In this month of African-American history where we’re trying to celebrate what is good and great, it certainly seems ridiculous that Pepsi would utilize this kind of humor,” she said. “It was not humorous. It was demeaning — an African-American woman throwing something at an African-American male and winding up hitting a Caucasian woman.”

[...]

“I think that we can come together in a much better way, sell Pepsi, and as well talk about good nutrition,” she said. “But, frankly, I consider this insulting, and so did many other women of all colors.”

Unfortunately, this woman is being serious.

I’m sure Pepsi will cast commercials with only black people or only white people next time. After all, we wouldn’t want to offend Rep. Jackson Lee by mixing it up. What a joke.

Please, get a sense of humor.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the anti-Koch brothers protest in Palm Spring, CA last weekend?

Answer: Leftist protesters calling for the deaths of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Fox News executives, and Glenn Beck.

This is absolutely pathetic and disgusting. It is interesting that the mainstream media has no problem with blaming famous conservatives (e.g. Sarah Palin) and the Tea Party for the tragic shooting in Tucson, Arizona. Meanwhile, they blatantly ignore the actual hatred being spewed from individuals on the left.

So much for that new tone of “civility”.

Oddly enough, these leftist idiots were out in the California sunshine protesting Charles and David Koch for being conservative and rich. Big Government points out the protesters’ ignorance and hypocrisy:

Unfortunately several “haves” have missed the memo that you’re not to be both rich and conservative at the same time, and that bankrolling your pet causes is an extra no-no if you’re conservative—thus exempting left-wing billionaire philanthropists George Soros (from whom Common Cause has received $2 million over the past eight years) Peter Lewis, John Doerr, Julian RobertsonNicolas Berggruen, and many others from being yelled at too.

At the morning panel event featuring UCI Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, activist Jim Hightower, Center for American Progress journalist and “Koch Brothers expert” Lee Fang, California Nurses Association co-president DeAnn McEwan, and President Obama’s former green jobs czar Van Jones, we were forewarned of the impending demise of both the environment and democracy at the hands of corporate lobbyists and their government shills.

There was eerily no mention of GE, AEP, Goldmann Sachs, Pfizer, Aetna, Alcoa, Xerox, Google, Motorola, IBM, or several other corporate giants who profit at taxpayer expense via their K Street connections to the Obama White House as well as the very economic and regulatory policies they lobby that these Common Cause panelists commonly endorse. But I’m sure that’s only because no one wanted to point out the obvious. Right?

It is sad that these people can’t argue the issues without resorting to demonization, racist remarks, and death threats. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

As for the mainstream media, the conservative blogosphere is still waiting for you to report this vitriolic hatred. After all, you are fair and balanced right?

*UPDATE* – February 7, 2011 – 10:02 AM.

Not even the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will defend Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The Daily Caller reports:

The NAACP won’t directly address the racism displayed by progressive protesters outside a summit hosted by billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch at the end of January in Palm Springs, Calif., but the organization did call for an end to all “vitriolic language.”

In response to The Daily Caller’s request for comment on a video showing progressive protesters calling for somebody to “string up” African American Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, or “send him back into the fields” or “cut off all his toes and feed them to him one-by-one,” NAACP spokesman Hilary Shelton pointed to the organization’s recent resolution calling for a “civil political discourse.”

“Last summer, the NAACP passed a resolution calling for a civil political discourse,” Shelton said in an e-mail to TheDC. “We continue to call on all Americans to abandon vitriolic language. It serves as a distraction from the real issues our society need to address and distorts the challenges we as Americans have to confront to make our nation greater still.”

Shelton would not, however, address the content of the video directly.

Shocking…

Wonder what you would find if you frisked then-Senator Obama’s appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show in February 2008?

Answer: He used the exact same argument that Judge Robert Vinson used to overturn Obama’s health care overhaul legislation.

Clearly President Obama doesn’t believe his signature health care legislation is constitutional:

She’s have the government force every individual to buy insurance, and I don’t have such a mandate because I don’t think the problem is that people don’t want health insurance.  It’s that they can’t afford it …

Well, if things were that easy, I could mandate everybody buy a house, and that, you know, and that would solve, you know, the problem of homelessness.  It doesn’t.

Also, then-Senator Obama made the same argument on CNN:

OBAMA: Let’s break down what she really means by a mandate. What’s meant by a mandate is that the government is forcing people to buy health insurance and so she’s suggesting a parent is not going to buy health insurance for themselves if they can afford it. Now, my belief is that most parents will choose to get health care for themselves and we make it affordable.

Here’s the concern. If you haven’t made it affordable, how are you going to enforce a mandate. I mean, if a mandate was the solution, we can try that to solve homelessness by mandating everybody to buy a house. The reason they don’t buy a house is they don’t have the money. And so, our focus has been on reducing costs, making it available. I am confident if people have a chance to buy high-quality health care that is affordable, they will do so. That’s what our plan does and nobody disputes that.

Here is Judge Robert Vinson’s reference to Obama’s argument in his opinion overturning Obamacare:

The problem with this legal rationale, however, is it would essentially have unlimited application. There is quite literally no decision that, in the natural course of events, does not have an economic impact of some sort. The decisions of whether and when (or not) to buy a house, a car, a television, a dinner, or even a morning cup of coffee also have a financial impact that — when aggregated with similar economic decisions — affect the price of that particular product or service and have a substantial effect on interstate commerce. To be sure, it is not difficult to identify an economic decision that has a cumulatively substantial effect on interstate commerce; rather, the difficult task is to find a decision that does not.

Oops!

It is clear this president only cares about his own far-left agenda and does not care about our US Constitution. Some Constitutional scholar he is… Pff.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked college campuses all over the state of Michigan?

Answer: Bridge Card abuse.

Bridge Cards are an electronic version of food stamps that are issued by the Department of Human Services (DHS). A lot of students, who are not dependents of their parents, are eligible to receive government assistance because they have a so-called “low income”. Some students claim they need them in order to survive fiscally through school. Unfortunately, this is not true and many of these students are abusing the system. Not only do they use the Bridge Card to purchase an unnecessary amount of food, but some also use it to purchase alcohol and cigarettes with the money they are able to get back with it.

Who pays for this abuse? The taxpayer.

Fortunately, a Michigan lawmaker has named college student fraud in the food-aid program as a top priority in the coming year. The Lansing State Journal reports:

Rep. David Agema, R-Grandville, who last month became chairman of a House subcommittee overseeing the budget for the state Department of Human Services, named college student fraud in the food-aid program as a top priority in the coming year.

Though Agema is not sure how many college students are abusing the program statewide, he said he fears the state is wasting millions of dollars annually to provide the aid to students who don’t need it. Bridge Card recipients use the card as kind of an electronic version of food stamps, and critics say students of well-heeled parents are using the aid to pay for food and using their spending money for booze and parties.

“It’s an epidemic,” Agema said Tuesday at a committee hearing. “You can get this just by (applying) on the Internet.”

[...]

Agema spent much of last year criticizing suspected Bridge Card fraud among college students, and, in October, the State Journal reported anecdotal accounts from mid-Michigan store owners suggesting that fraud among college students was widespread in the region.

In recent weeks, Agema said, he has heard from many parents in his House district who say they are astonished their child is receiving the aid in college even though the parents are paying for all expenses.

Last year, the DHS reported that at any given point during the 2009-10 school year, 10,000 to 18,000 college and university students were receiving food assistance (at a maximum of $200 per month each).

Agema said he hoped the state Inspector General would begin a series of “sting operations” this year at retailers statewide to uncover the fraud that may be taking place.

According to a 2008 report from the Office of Inspector General, Michigan lost $17.3 million during a three-year period (2006-2008) from users abusing the system. Unfortunately, that number has probably grown since 10,000 to 18,000 college and university students are receiving food assistance.

Bridge Card abuse is a problem that Michigan lawmakers need to crackdown on. Michigan has one of the worst economies and the second highest unemployment rate in the United States. Not only are these students hurting the people who actually need the assistance, the abuse is also contributing to Michigan’s $1.8 billion budget shortfall. Eliminating the fraud is an absolute must.

Side-Note: As a recent college graduate, I have seen a lot of Bridge Card abuse on Michigan State’s campus. Sadly, a few of these individuals are my friends. Interestingly enough, those individuals are liberals. The same ideology that thinks I stand for the wealthy and discriminate against the poor. Meanwhile, these liberal friends of mine are milking the welfare system and hurting the people they claim to be for… Hypocrisy at its finest.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked US Senator Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) knowledge on the three branches of government?

Answer: He thinks the House of Representatives and Senate are separate branches of government.

Video transcript:

So I would urge my Republican colleagues, no matter how strong they feel — you know, we have three branches of government: we have a House, the Senate, we have a President, and all three of us are going to have to come together and give some. But it is playing with fire to risk the shutting down of the government, just as it is playing with fire to risk not paying the debt ceiling.

I guess Sen. Schumer is one of those elected officials who falls within the 51 percent of elected officials who can’t name all three branches of government, compared with 50 percent of the general public.

For those who think like Sen. Schumer, the actual three branches of government are the executive (run by the President), the legislature (which includes both the House and the Senate), and the judiciary.

Better luck next time Chucky.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius?

Answer: She believes health insurance is similar to buying televisions.

Huh?

CNS News reports:

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius defended the new health care law’s mandate requiring people to purchase insurance, comparing the buying of health insurance to buying televisions.

People access health care regardless of whether they have insurance, said Sebelius on Friday. “What they’re choosing not to do is actually pay for those services,” she said.

“[I]f I don’t have a 27-inch TV for the Super Bowl, I can’t demand on the day of the Super Bowl that somebody deliver that TV because I have a right to it. On the other hand, if I don’t have insurance, I come through the door of an emergency room and get treated and get cared for, and somebody else picks up the tab,” said Sebelius.

Very interesting… I have heard the Obama administration (including Ms. Sebelius) and other liberals compare health insurance to auto insurance, but that argument has been debunked numerous times.

Buying TV’s? Really? Now they are just getting desperate.

Side-Note: A Florida judge could declare Obamacare unconstitutional today. If so, it will definitely cure my case of the Mondays.
