George Will.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked ABC’s This Week yesterday?

Answer: George Will reminds the viewers of a few important things that many tend to forget.

BOOM! I don’t think George Will could have been anymore on-point with his appearance on ABC News. Not to mention, the first thing he talks about in the video posted above is absolutely true. Great observation:

We go through these moments in Washington where we complain about the government being broken. These moments all have one thing in common: The left is having trouble enacting its agenda. No one! When G.W. Bush had trouble reforming social security said ‘Oh! That’s terrible! The government is broken.

Overall, I give George Will’s performance a solid A. After all, he was surrounded by four die-hard lefties… That’s just brutal in the first place.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the Michigan-based company Trijicon?

Answer: They put coded references to New Testament Bible passages on some of their high-powered rifle sights.

And of course ABC News blows this story way out of proportion… Starting with the headline U.S. Military Weapons Inscribed With Secret ‘Jesus’ Bible Codes:

Coded references to New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ are inscribed on high-powered rifle sights provided to the United States military by a Michigan company, an ABC News investigation has found.

The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army.

U.S. military rules specifically prohibit the proselytizing of any religion in Iraq or Afghanistan and were drawn up in order to prevent criticism that the U.S. was embarked on a religious “Crusade” in its war against al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents.

One of the citations on the gun sights, 2COR4:6, is an apparent reference to Second Corinthians 4:6 of the New Testament, which reads: “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

[...]

Trijicon confirmed to ABCNews.com that it adds the biblical codes to the sights sold to the U.S. military. Tom Munson, director of sales and marketing for Trijicon, which is based in Wixom, Michigan, said the inscriptions “have always been there” and said there was nothing wrong or illegal with adding them. Munson said the issue was being raised by a group that is “not Christian.” The company has said the practice began under its founder, Glyn Bindon, a devout Christian from South Africa who was killed in a 2003 plane crash.

Hmm… I don’t know about you, but I don’t consider a scope a weapon. You absolutely have to take things like this with a grain of salt, because liberals have an extreme desire to remove all mentions of anything related to God or religion. Once again, political correctness at its finest.

Side-Note: What is the big deal with taking a Bible verse referring to light on a scope that probably uses ambient light to produce its aiming point?

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Oprah’s Christmas Special?

Answer: More of the Obamas!

Yay! How excited are we all? After all, we never get to see the Messiah on the television anymore… Wait a minute?

There’s nothing like another Obama media blitz to welcome the holiday season:

The queen of daytime will interview the president of the country during an ABC holiday special that brings together Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama.

The queen of daytime will interview the president of the country during an ABC holiday special that brings together Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama.

Make sure you mark this on your calendar folks! Oprah’s “Christmas at the White House” will air Sunday, December 13, at 10 p.m.

I sure hope he brings his teleprompter along for the show to help answer those REALLY tough questions that will be thrown his way like:

  • “Michelle, which of your 26 personal assistants is your favorite?”
  • “How’s your dog?”
  • “Now that you have saved the economy, what Bush caused disaster will you fix next?”

I can see how the show will play out now…

Side-Note: Is there any hope that the Obamas will beat the ratings that Sarah Palin gave The Oprah Show? I highly doubt it.

V-Based-On-Obama

Wonder what you would find if you frisked ABC’s new television show V?

Answer: Could it be based on President Obama?

Whoa now! Is the media getting a little too obsessed with President Obama? Haha, of course! But maybe not when it comes to ABC’s new television show V, which premieres tonight at 8pm/7c.

Check out this review/summary and see what you think:

Imagine this. At a time of political turmoil, a charismatic, telegenic new leader arrives virtually out of nowhere. He offers a message of hope and reconciliation based on compromise and promises to marshal technology for a better future that will include universal health care.

The news media swoons in admiration — one simpering anchorman even shouts at a reporter who asks a tough question: “Why don’t you show some respect?!!” The public is likewise smitten, except for a few nut cases who circulate batty rumors on the Internet about the leader’s origins and intentions. The leader, undismayed, offers assurances that are soothing, if also just a tiny bit condescending: “Embracing change is never easy.”

Who is this starting to sound like? Haha, don’t worry it gets even better:

[...] Oh, wait – did I mention the leader is secretly a totalitarian space lizard who’s come here to eat us?

Welcome to ABC’s V, the final, the most fascinating and bound to be the most controversial new show of the fall television season. Nominally a rousing sci-fi space opera about alien invaders bent on the conquest (and digestion) of all humanity, it’s also a barbed commentary on Obamamania that will infuriate the president’s supporters and delight his detractors.

The aliens — who quickly become known as Vs, for visitors — quickly enthrall their wide-eyed human hosts with their futuristic technology (they set up a chain of medical clinics and promise “to provide medical services to all”) and their mushy we’re-all-brothers political rhetoric, the latter tinged with faint reproach.

The aliens promise universal health-care for everyone??? Hmm… Very interesting. Sounds pretty ‘hopenchangey’ if you ask me. I will have to check out this show on Hulu another night since there will be election coverage on all night!

Side-Note: Maybe the ‘birthers’ have something to go on now. Instead of not being an American born citizen… Is it possible President Obama is from outerspace!? Haha.

Obama Admin cry babies!

Obama Admin cry babies!

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the relationship between the Obama Administration and the media?

Answer: A bunch of whiners!

What’s that? The Obama Administration’s press relations group doesn’t act very professional? Ah, of course. Do we really expect them to??

It was off the races for Obama on his Sunday media blitz that entailed five interviews on ABC, CNN, NBC, CBS, and… Univision. HAHA! That’s right folks, instead of choosing the network with the largest audience (FOX News), Obama chose the Spanish-language network Univision. What a joke:

The most logical move would be to appear on Fox, considering they draw millions of viewers more than their cable news rivals. If he needs to clear up perceived misconceptions related to messaging, Obama should have appeared on the cable network with the largest audience, and audience that coincidentally holds those same “misconceptions.”  That would be the perfect place to clarify the tough questions, providing he could answer them.  But, alas, he passed on the opportunity.

Unfortunately for Obama, he seriously missed the mark on ACORN and health care.  He had nothing new to say about his health care plans and he mistakenly conveyed the image he is above the ACORN story. People care about corruption and they care about the misuse of taxpayer money.  They want the President to reassure them that their money will not continue to fund corrupt organizations, especially when the President’s party is trying to convince them to support government run health care.

Inconsistencies like these are making it easier and easier to ignore Obama.  His administration clearly needs a major shakeup in quality of advisers, messaging, and strategy.

The White House tries to pull of the same moves during each media blitz and then goes back to its roots of ridiculing the opposition. This is one VERY arrogant administration! Until they realize that spewing the same ol’ propaganda on the same ol’ liberal networks doesn’t work, they are most likely bound to fail.

Props to Chris Wallace, he summed it up nicely.

Reminder to Obama: This isn’t Burger King sir… You can’t always ‘have it your way’!
