Canadian Premier Coming To U.S. For Heart Surgery

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the Canadian health-care system?

Answer: Apparently, Canadian Premier Danny Williams doesn’t like his own country’s health-care system either.

Figures… CBC News reports:

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams is set to undergo heart surgery this week in the United States.

CBC News confirmed Monday that Williams, 60, left the province earlier in the day and will have surgery later in the week.

The premier’s office provided few details, beyond confirming that he would have heart surgery and saying that it was not necessarily a routine procedure.

Deputy Premier Kathy Dunderdale is scheduled to hold a news conference Tuesday morning.

She’s expected to provide more details about Williams’s condition, as well as how the provincial government will function during his absence.

CBC reporter David Cochrane said Williams appeared to be in good health recently. He described the premier as “fairly active,” playing pick-up hockey at least once a week when work permits.

For the record, a Canadian Premier is like a Governor here in the United States.

Hmm? I guess the question needs to be asked: If the health-care system here in America is so awful compared to our neighbors’ universal health-care up north, why is the Premier coming here for surgery?

Canadian Comedian Fails At Trying To Embarrass Sarah Palin

Hmm...?

Wonder what you would find if you frisked Canadian Comedian Mary Walsh?

Answer: She wasted her money coming to America.

It’s obvious this woman isn’t very good at her job because we have never heard of her, but here’s some background information on her:

This Hour Has 22 Minutes, is described by many as the Canadian Daily Show. Comedian Mary Walsh plays one of the characters named “Marg Delahunty” — a strident conservative who is known (in Canada at least) for buttonholing politicians and conducting satirical interviews.

Ms. Walsh ambushed Palin with a camera crew to see what her thoughts were on the failed Canadian health care system and the liberal blogs are all ‘gitty’ over it (of course). The big question here: Is this honestly the best they could do? After all, this is suppose to be the Canadian version of The Daily Show with John Stewart. Personally, I feel Ms. Walsh and her show wasted their money to come down to America, take the time to sneak past the thousands in line to see Sarah Palin, and ask the generalized question that she did.

Also, Ms. Walsh claims that Sarah Palin is not a person of the people at all. Why? Is it because she didn’t take the time to have a one-on-one interview while ignoring the thousands that lined up to meet her? Yeah… Good excuse.

Ms. Walsh tried to make a joke for her show and it turns out she was the actual joke.

Epic fail.
