Wonder what you would find if you frisked WOOD TV 8 in Grand Rapids over the weekend?

Answer: GOP gubernatorial candidate Mike Bouchard was a guest on an episode of To The Point with Rick Albin.

If you have the time, make sure you click on the image above to watch the interview with Mike Bouchard. In the interview, Bouchard touched on a lot of issues that concern Michiganders and will eventually pop up along the campaign trail as the November election quickly approaches. Overall, I would say the interview went extremely well and gives his campaign a much deserved boost of momentum going into April. I must admit, Gov. Palin is starting to grow on me. Overall, minus the Levi Johnston questions, I thought this was a really good interview.

Side-Note: Gov. Sarah Palin is going to be in Grand Rapids, MI tomorrow and I may try and make it over there for the book signing. Wish me luck.

REMINDER: The videos of the interview are hard to find right now on YouTube so I apologize if they become broken links.

Good-Conservatives

Macro-Rubio

Marco Rubio for FL Senate.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked MSNBC’s Morning Joe?

Answer: A great interview with a good conservative.

Lookout Florida Governor Charlie Crist! Macro Rubio is seeking that open Senate seat in the 2010 Republican primary! To learn a little more about Mr. Rubio or donate to his campaign, click here.

My political feelings toward Marco Rubio can be summed up here:

[...] Rubio is exactly the kind of candidate that Tea Party activists want from the GOP, and his growing popularity shows that he has captured the energy of the grassroots activists.

The 2010 elections will hinge on government interventions in the economy. If the GOP wants to win, they need to find candidates like Rubio, Pat Toomey, Douglas Hoffman, Rob Portman, and others who put the principles of fiscal conservatism and limited government ahead of all other considerations. A nation aghast at the Obama overreach in 2009 needs clear choices, not various shades of Democrat Lite. Rubio has this exactly correct.

Get out of here Governor Charlie Crist! Your a little too liberal for me!

Side-Note: How good was that interview!? Is it just me, or did the liberal MSNBC gang actually enjoy him being on the show?? This guy has a bright future in politics ahead of him.

…And Mr. Rubio, don’t you dare think about pulling a Mark Sanford on us! haha.
