Wonder what you would find if you frisked the six-month election recount that put “Saturday Night Live” comedian Al Franken into office as a U.S. senator?

Answer: The election may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally.

Liberals using corrupt electioneering? Never…

FOX News reports:

The six-month election recount that turned former “Saturday Night Live” comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota’s Twin Cities.

That’s the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.

The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes — fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, according to Minnesota Majority’s newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.

Furthermore, the report charges that efforts to get state and federal authorities to act on its findings have been “stonewalled.”

[...]

“What we did this time is irrefutable,” said [Dan McGrath, Minnesota Majority's executive director]. ”We took the voting lists and matched them with conviction lists and then went back to the records and found the roster lists, where voters sign in before walking to the voting booth, and matched them by hand.

“The only way we can be wrong is if someone with the same first, middle and last names, same year of birth as the felon, and living in the same community, has voted. And that isn’t very likely.”

The report said that in Hennepin County, which in includes Minneapolis, 899 suspected felons had been matched on the county’s voting records, and the review showed 289 voters were conclusively matched to felon records. The report says only three people in the county have been charged with voter fraud so far.

Good job Liberals and Democrats! By using your typical, corrupt-style of politics, you managed to elect a man who draws cartoons and sleeps during Senate hearings. I must say, he’s a real winner.

At least we know that banners are now hanging in the Minnesota ACORN offices saying: ”Mission Accomplished”.

Alexi Giannoulias (D)

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the National Republican Senatorial Committee right after they received word that Alexi Giannoulias won the Democratic Primary for the U.S. Senate?

Answer: They immediately released the advertisement posted above.

Yikes! The NRSC definitely did not hold any punches back on this one. The moment they heard the bell, they darted out with lightning speed to attack. The objective of this advertisement is to connect Alexi Giannoulias to former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, Tony Rezko, and some thugs within the Chicago Mob. Absolutely brilliant. After all, it was the other Democrats during the primary election that opened this can of worms to begin with.

In regards to the better side of politics, Mark Kirk won the GOP Primary for the U.S. Senate. Congratulations! Although Kirk has been known to be a pretty moderate Republican, we hope he will stick to his guns and do what’s best for our country.

The NRSC has just released this statement:

The Democrats selected Alexi Giannoulias, yet another ethically-challenged candidate who was raised in the tradition of the Chicago political machine. Giannoulias’ failed record of achievement has not qualified Illinois’ first term Treasurer to serve in the U.S. Senate, but his tainted resume hasn’t stopped the ambitious 33-year-old from seeking a promotion in November.

[...]

Giannoulias’ record as the state’s first term Treasurer has not been much brighter. His crowning achievements include hiring a Wall Street bank to manage the state college investment fund, Bright Start, which proceeded to make bad bets and lose money for thousands of Illinois families. After the losses were discovered, the State of Illinois had to settle for the bank’s repaying only half of the total losses.

But that didn’t stop Alexi Giannoulias from buying himself a brand new SUV, courtesy of the state’s beleaguered college investment fund and paid for by taxpayers in Illinois.

And if you think that’s the only poor decision Giannoulias has made, think again. I will bring you more details on this corrupt politician later on this year as the 2010 elections draw nearer.

Just know this: The selection of Giannoulias as the Democratic candidate, just proves that corrupt Chicago-style politics still exists. Voters beware!

Side-Note: Love the ending of the adveritsement… “He would make Tony Soprano Proud.”

Wonder what you would find if you frisked State Senator Scott Brown’s campaign for Massachusetts’s special U.S. Senate election?

Answer: He raised over $1,000,000… within a single day.

Congratulations to Scott Brown! As I type – 10:45 pm – he has currently raised $1,092,498.62!

Make sure you check out this video clip from tonight’s Massachusetts U.S. Senate debate between Scott Brown (R) and Martha Coakley (D):

Can anyone say owned? I can! Apparently, Coakley felt she didn’t do a good enough job during the debate, because just minutes later she released an absurd attack advertisement. Watch it now, by clicking here. Coakley must be extremely desperate, because she decided to use the classic liberal “blame Bush” strategy within her advertisement. Hmm… She must not of realized that Scott Brown was not a U.S. Senator during George W. Bush’s Presidency. Epic failure.

Side-Note: It feels good knowing that I helped contribute to his campaign’s “money bomb” and I recommend that you contribute too! Make sure you check out his campaign website and make a donation today, by clicking here.

*UPDATE* – January 12, 2010

If you are trying to view the attack advertisement that I have linked within this blog post, it doesn’t work anymore. Due to Martha Coakley’s misspelling, they have yanked the advertisement. If you would like to know more about it, click here.

*UPDATE #2* – January 12, 2010

I found a link that works now! Check out Martha Coakley’s absurd attack advertisement, by clicking here. Notice the misspelling is still in this advertisement at the end, haha.

Wonder what you would find if you frisked the U.S. Senate this Christmas Eve morning?

Answer: Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-NV) version of Obama-Care passed.

This is how the Democrats say Merry Christmas to America:

The Senate passed a health insurance overhaul on Thursday morning, 60-39, as both Democrats and Republicans held unified in their positions on the massive bill that mandates coverage for about 9 percent of the U.S. population now without insurance.

All 58 Democrats and two independents supported the $871 billion, 10-year package that aims to cover about 30 million Americans. Thirty-nine of 40 Republicans rejected the bill. Kentucky Sen. Jim Bunning, who is retiring at the end of this Congress, did not vote.

Although this makes Christmas Eve pretty disappointing, Obama-Care still has a ways to go in order to become official:

Actually, it’s probably at least two steps away.  First, the House has to either consider adopting the Senate bill in toto or responding with another version of their own bill that passed a few weeks ago.  Even the White House doesn’t consider the first option realistic, which is why they’re resetting expectations about getting a unified bill out of Congress to February and doing the “hard pivot” to jobs and the economy instead.

[...]

This goes back to the House, and then likely back again to the Senate, and perhaps even a stop in a conference committee if Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid can’t avoid it.  Meanwhile, the appraisal by voters of this effort will continue to get worse and worse, and this will continue to be an albatross around the neck of Democrats in 2010.

Well conservatives… Keep your heads up, enjoy some delicious food tonight, and hopefully that will cheer you up!
