Wonder what you would find if you frisked David Sirota during his interview on CNN’s American Morning?
Answer: He does what every liberal does best… Doesn’t hesitate to pull out the race card to slam conservatives.
First, wasn’t it the far-left who deemed the terms ‘terrorist’ and ‘War on Terror’ politically incorrect? Isn’t the new term for ‘terrorist’ now ‘criminal’ or ‘vicious killer’? Or how about ‘War on Terror’? Isn’t the new term for that the ‘Overseas Contingency Operation’? Hmm… I believe the answer to all those questions are “yes” – thanks to the liberal elite ideology.
But like a good liberal, Mr. Sirota turns to his ‘demonizing the opposition’ roots, and turns a little hypocritical as he blames conservatives for being “right-wing political terrorists” that led to the resignation of the self-acclaimed communist, Van Jones:
“They’re basically putting Van Jones out to pasture because of something that Van Jones said was a mistake,” Sirota said. “And what I think is going on here is that the White House is listening to the right-wing’s political terrorists, people like Glenn Beck… because Van Jones is an African-American with progressive movement background…”
Of course… And what’s demonizing the opposition if you can’t toss in the race card while your at it? Oh! He did that too. The far-left could care less about facts and the truth, especially when it gets in the way of their agenda.
David Frum did a great job responding to Mr. Sirota’s outrageous accusations:
“Denying the proof of 9/11 is not an intellectual mistake,” Frum responded. “It’s an attempt to shift the blame for one of the worst crimes in history from the people who did it, to the people who suffered it. It’s not unlike Holocaust denial in that way.”
“If you traffic in such a horrific lie, you have no place in American government.”
Enough said… Goodbye Van Jones, and don’t be too sad. After all, I’m sure you’ll easily find a job at some liberal-land university.
